314 miles...... how many tanks?? lol

doable in one, but i'd say 1 and abit.

Although my old 172 would not do over 250 miles a tank.

Youd defo get the light if you tried on one, as rolo said, will end up tanking up again as you get near home

I do 330 miles a week and that is one full tank and thats at around 85mph on motorway

1 tank easy, i average 38mpg and i have my moments of sillyness every so often. just filled up with super and it cost 32 quid from near empty. deal!!

^^ Fill it up before you set off home and don't fill it again until after you've reached your home . See if you end up on the hard shoulder ringing the AA lol ;)

I thought it was a ten gallon tank lol, stand corrected :o

Would normally have checked but sold my flamer yesterday :dapprove:

It's an 11 gallon tank , but i think level gauge is the most unreliable guage ever .

I've had the tank almost empty , splashed 20 litres in and then done the trip computer test trick and its showed the level to have risen by alot more than 20 litres .

Make its filled up with 99 RON though, im sure Steve will tell u this when u pick it up, iirc its only been run on this

Hmmmm. Fill it up to the brim, then fill a jerry can up. See how much u can get out of it, then u know your limits for your car!!!!

If all goes wrong, jerry can ftw!!!

thats what i would do like, then you know how much you got on red light!

Depends if the car youll be driving back is in tip top condiction.
If its like mine you'll get 250 - 280 miles out of the tank.

Follow Bonxys advice , Jerry can in the boot . Prove me wrong that one tank won't make it ;)

Thats all i ever get (280mpg) in my 182 and was the same in my 172 . Heavy right foot i guess lol .

Brim it when you get it and it should get you home mate... If you stick to 70 on the motorway.

I used to get approx 25 mpg on average in my 182 day to day, but on a motorway run back from collecting it I got about 350 miles out of a full tank - and that wasn't going slow by any means. I'd have thought you'd could make that assuming 172/182 tanks are the same size.
