360 First Impressions

Ok so i'm a bit behind the time and my 360 Premium only turned up today.

First thoughts - wireless controllers rock! They feel nicely weighted too and are comfy unlike the old controllers. Definately higher build quality to these.

Graphics are good on my parents' standard TV. Had a quick blast on PGR3 and Test Drive Unlimited. Love the roaming element of it.

Very smart, looking forward to my new temporary TV coming from insurance company after a power surge fried the old one. Bugger.

HDTV coming soon.... keep saying that... grrrr.

Very nice though and will be on live soon.

How do you find the noise of the thing? I've heard some say it's a bit loud, the disc drive or something?

In your opinion would you trade a Chipped Xbox with 400 games + All the new games for just £1 a game

The 360 is great but the wireless controllers will annoy the hell out of you when you have to keep replacing the batteries...lol...Either buy rechargeables or get rid of them and buy wired controllers..

Glad you like! When you've got Live sorted out, stick your gamer tag on that there thread with all the gamer tags on, we can set up a local PGR clan...

Just get the rechargable battery pack and plug in lead for the wireless pad. £15 for the charger and battery and 1 charged pack is good for 30 or so hours. Mine was charged the other week and still not died yet.

I'm not going to slit my wrists over buying some batteries hehe.

I think its a much better bit of kit than my old Xbox, and in all honesty, if you can hear the console, turn your TV/home cinema up!

I'm in same boat, been thinking about it for ages, decided to go for it, so went for the deal off play.com with PGR and free wireless controller, then went mad and got a 27" HD LCD too lol!! o well, only live once...

got a few games on my mind inc. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas when it comes out.

how easy will it be for a CS PGR league thing??
