360 Hacked :-)

Was just looking on the Xecuter site as i haven't visited the forum for a while and found this news piece there. Proof that, hacks are on the way for playing (cough) back-up software on your very own 360.

Might be worth buying one after all

thats well old ,

there been more developements since , theyve found out if u rip the dvd drive out , put it in a pc update the firmware u can get it to play copies.

there trying to make somet u siply plug upto the drive to correct the firmware. but this hasnt been made yet

Yes there are ways BUT what they dont explain is that the Drive firmware patching all they have to do is release a Patch over Live and its easily reversed and they have admitted this.

Same with a lot of the so called hacks. The only thing I wanted it to was play Divx files and now with transcode and MCE I can do this. I dont think we will see a viable AFFORDABLE solution for a long time to come IMO and I hope we dont

of course it`ll get hacked , theres no doubt about it.

and i do wanna see it hacked because it makes the console have so many more use`s, one of the main reasons for me wanting the old xbox was because of the after market software u could use. If they do it with 360 i`ll buy one.

Also im idle and carnt be arsed getting the games out so a must is play games from hd
