36K Service With Belts

Hi Guys,

Cars due for a service. I have a 182 cup.

What sort of price is reasonable for a service with belt change?

Should only need aux belt changed at 36k, 72k for cam belt, people on here split between the two and do a complete belt change ie pulleys, tensioner belts mid-way between the two at 40kish

Sorry i forgot to add the car is 5 years old as well, i think its 5yrs or 72K?

If it's 5 years old it'll need both done.

Have a look at some of the traders on here, Birchdown, NWP, Rentech, K-Tec and BTM all spring to mind, unfortunately I have no idea where Hastings is so you'll have to work out whose closest by yourself. lol.

Get the Whole lot done- 36k service + belts You will be looking at a round trip with a bit of change from £700

According to the RenTech website its in Dorset, Not really that local.
Unless iam looking at the wrong one?

As I think I mentioned above-- rentech will probably come in around £675/700 for both belt kits & a service....( Depending what you actually want done on the service)-

My cambelts due in a few months so been ringing round for some quotes for belts and a service.

Lookers Renault in Macclesfield have just quoted me £1342 - the bloke said "blimey that's a lot, I'll see if I can do you a deal" - came back to me with £1151

Haha, unfortunatly its the name of the Village where they are based.

Been there before for the last service and they were very good.

On a side note Rentech in Portsmouth were cheapest i found at £650 so booked in there next month

Aux Belt + Cam Belt all in for just under £600
