3D Football/TV

  Suzuki Ignis Sport
Was in waiting for a 3D film to start in the cinema, when they had a preview and sample of what football on 3D tv would look. It amazed me, it was truly spectacular.

Made the hairs of my back stand on end. It will completely change watching football on tv, and tv in general.

It's the way forward IMO, abso-f**king-lutely stunning.

sitting at home wearing big plastic glasses while trying to relax watching tv is not my idea of fun though, and thats coming from someone who wears glasses 24x7.

It is the future though, a couple of companies are developing 3D TV that doesn't need glasses to watch it.

They've had one in harrods for the past year, it's not very good though, for now we are stuck with glasses I think.

I wasn't saying it was, do you not think I have grown accustomed go wearing glasses in public.

Wearing a second pair, which are hardly comfortable, and them being darkened coupled with most people get headaches after prolonged 3d viewing mean I can't see it working as a regular thing at home, the ocassional film at the cinema yes, but watching a night of 3d tv is a way off yet I think.

Then don't watch the 3D version then, I'm sure there would be an option to watch non-3D programmes for people like you.

I wear glasses, and don't find wearing 3D glasses over them a problem, it sits quite nicely over my glasses.

...paying a massive premium for a 3d tv and then watching it in 2d...

that makes about as much sense as buying an Hd tv and watching sd on it, pointless! - like a huge majority of the public

I'm in no rush for the whole 3D telly thing, until they start showing pornos of course, thats an entirely different matter :)

first issue football is shite

second issue 3d at home is fairly pointless you need a big screen to get the immersive feeling that works so well with it

my views on 3d cinema changed a bit when i watched allice in 3d much better than avatar for me this time it was a reald system the glasses were much better and teh film was much brighter and didnt give me any headaches etc
