3rd year 36k service 172

Due a major service this month Renault Dealer has quoted me £414.75 !
They will change for this price:

oil / oil filter,
Air filter,
Aux Belt, recommend 36k
Spark Plugs, recommend 36k
Pollen Filter,
Slumps.

I am able to get this a little cheaper as im in the motor trade but feedback on the price and if i need the work all done would be great from all you guys & girls ?

K-Tec are doing mine next week at a nearly half that price bud. Also, try Rentech. Depends on if you're prepared to travel or not. It's a 2hr trip for me to K-Tec but I reckon it'll be worth it for having Renault experts/enthusiasts do teh work.

I paid £208 from Holden Renault in Norwich, but they didn't do the aux belt, which is something i'm looking into getting done now.

Theres no f**king way I'm letting Renault have the cash for that service. Mike or K-tec or BB can have it.

I paid £500 for my 36k service but that included the timing belt change too.

Booked in next week at Gravells in Kidwelly, South Wales - Independant Renault Franchise I think.

Got Quoted £299 at Swansea and £340 - 350ish at Renault Cardiff. They could not give me a firm quote and is apparently the same dealer as Swansea????

Does anybody know of any independant renault garage for service etc in the Lancashire area ? Can't find one anywhere . Would be good if people could post the names , locations of all good renault specialists countrywide for cheaper services , better paying Rip Off Renault prices !

Is this right? I thought they only checked the Aux belt at 36k, and spark plugs where changed about 72k? Could be wrong though.

Had my 172 36k service done in O.C.Davies near Cardigain and total cost come to £160 iirc

Also had my 182 12k done in August at Haverfordwest (Gravells) cost £150 inc.

That price from Gravells is wicked - they charged me £350 to replace a driveshaft on my old 5 Turbo about 5 years ago - I thought that was steep

My 172 is nearly due it's 36k service too, i'm wondering whether to do the service myself? Only thing is i'm unsure how difficult it is to change the aux belt?
