41 MPG!!!

After filling up with super unleaded solded at my local MOTO petrol station I reset my trip computer. After driving from Fleet to East Stratton and back again I was shocked to see I had averaged 41 mpg - a figure I have never previously got close to! I was driving quite sensibly (bar a brief bit of fun with a Golf R32) but am still extremly happy with this figure !!!

I always get over 40mpg on a motorway run if I stay under 4k rpm.

Just drove 500 miles, ragging the b****cks off it. Used half a tank, only about 100mpg, bit disappointing.
