Flame Red 172!
My 172's going in for Cambelt, Aux belt (which wasn't changed at 36k?! 
) and it's 48k service tomorrow morning and I get it back on Sunday...Was looking round for ages for a decent deal on having this little lot done and it made me want to kill myself!
Then my mate says that he knows the head mechanic at our local VW Dealership and he has his own garage as side business, evening's weekends, etc...gave him a call and he said that if I leave it over the weekend so he can take his time on it he'll do it all for £350 inc parts and labour...to say I was relieved is an understatement Said he's got all the tools and has worked on these before too...leaves me some extra cash for other stuff.
Only problem is, can't drive it for 2 days...Gutted!!!
