Lowering is the next step, original mirrors will be back on soon, just as soon as I can afford some connection blocks. Before the comments come, I am well aware that most of you hate my spoiler!!

nice grill on that colour car.

ps. whats that in your golve box, plugged in to the socket?

Thanks, its my Ipod charger/transmitter thingy, had it running through the back but the lead wasn't quite long enough

very clean :D

things i would do :
172 grill
cup or trophy spoiler
standard mirrors
colour coded
lowerd

job done :rasp:

Looks nice buddy!

Ill say it before someone else does.....Lower it and get some tyre gel :P lol

would look even tighter without the big gap, i lowered mine recently made me love me car again :)

Edit: Beaten to it lol

Yeah the spoiler is a bit gash, but you have done a terrific job on it! Well done!

Thank you very much, the spoiler is to be taken off as soon as I can get a Cup spoiler. My main concern was the grille though, what do people think of it?? I had a spare original so I cut out the internals and smoothed it off then meshed it out

colour coded Selling the car next year so may not bother
lowerd My missus is getting me springs for my birthday, just trying to find out whether 60mm apex will be too low with 17's though

40mm apex then not have to worry about your shocks going colour coded might help you sale as it looks 100x better

Thats just tipped it for me, 40mm apex it is, cheers

^^ I'm really anal when it comes to the interior (no silly comments thanks :))

I don't think you need to worry too much about colour coding on a black car, it looks good without :)

Shiny shiny btw, nice job :)

40mm apex wont be low enough on a 1.4 fella, will still look like it needs lowering.

To get a similar drop to the 182's on apex on here, you'll need 60mm springs on a dynamique mate.

Wont rub at all, even on 17's with people in the back.

U definately sure mate?? Thats what I thought when looking at it, its just people have told me that they have had rubbing?? If you can garuntee that they won't then I will go fo 60mm defo

The grill looks like its been very well fitted! what have you done to the rear lights?? tint spray or paint??

Ive got mine lowered -60mm on 17s and i get no rubbing with 4 people in the car! Do -60mm for definate mate.

Cars looking good tho. Well Done!!

Cheers matey, The grille took me ages, I like the end result, thought it might look to chavified at first, quite subtle though.

The rear lights have had tinting spray then laquered over to keep it a nice finish.

60mm it is then!!!

Also have you got any photo's of your car? i'd like to see what 17's and a 60mm drop look like

looks good, if u didnt use it already, use black colour magic, im guessing you've gpot the pearlescent paint, makes it look brand new!

not too sure about the grill because its a black car, think a sport would look better - like most people have already said before me!

Surely if u spent 5 whole hours on it you could have put some tyre black on?? ;)
If I could afford the tyre black it would have been on!! *checks pocket for change*

^^ Cheers Ad, your Car looks minted too!! Shame about the dark pics though!!
