5 th Gear Problem

Unfortunately the 5th gear of our 172s are quite weak according to our competitors like Honda 1.6 160hp Vtec, 206 RC, 207 RC and etc.

Our transmission ratio is 15/58.

Any comments and improvement suggestions?

If you are talking about high velocities around 120 mph, which I certainly do not recommend you keep driving at prolonged times, it is pretty much limited with the aerodynamics and engine characteristics of the car. RS2 flats out at around 145 mph as far as I can remember.
