Spotted a 172 cup at Arnold Clark Renault Bishopbriggs (Glasgow)

2 owners (pre registered originally no doubt)

18k miles

looked tidy, turinis were lightly marked at the rims though.

£8500 or so, was chatting to the salesman, he was alright surprisingly!!! and its just been traded in against a Megane 225.

but a lot of people prefer cups.

There's bargaining power and warrantys available obviously too, being a dealer

i think it'll sell pretty quickly tbh, people like buying from dealers (fools!), I think they'll get £8k for it no problem, low mileage and all that.

they offer extended warranty at £295 for 1 year and £395 for 2 years.

Dunno mate....53plate...Bear in mine i paid 7 for mine with 11k on the clock. 1yr older....

I've seen a few cheapo cups floatin about.

lol, i saw a cup at lookers chester recently ish, they wanted 8.5k for a 52 plate, i brought mine in dec 2004 for 7.5 with 30k

You got a good deal. Think you'd do very well to find a 53 plate Cup for 6.5k

you'll find cups+full fats go for the same money, its what the buyer wants at tha end of the day, i loved the colour+branded, better looking alloys along with the spoiler kit, AC is not a problem for me as none of my previous cars have had it, and you only get a few weeks of hot weather anyway

have a look at alis it has the "good bits" from a cup with exception of the colour although his colour beats that hands down for me. I know what Id rather look at buying for the same money!!

its what the BUYER requires from a car

i also could have brought a f/f, but wanted the slightly more 'focused' version, hense i brought a cup

1) Any derogatory remarks regarding an item for sale will be removed. A person is entitled to ask whatever price he wants, regardless of whether you think its too expensive or otherwise.

It's overpriced in my opinion too but no-one's forcing anyone to buy it. Can we quit the moans now please?
