Also I thought that VX would be better suited to you e.g. mileage/price etc etc, if it wasn't for the house extension I would probably gone to look at that for myself! If you do get one let me know and when I get the ITG fitted I will Pm you to come round for a blast in the dry!!!!!!!!!!

Just commented on the motors, RS VX etc. said you had been a good customer. I mentioned Amanda had took me out for a spin.

Am torn at the moment mate what to do, theres one in london, with a red hood and red leather for 11k with 30k on clock.

The GTi Anniversary still a candidate. Dunno what to do. Cheque will be through next week so decision time looms....

How much is the cup up for BTW?

Edit: Am I right in thinking they had a Trophy in stock not too long ago?

The trophy might have been at Ron Hodgson, Wigan Sports is based at the back of the Honda Garage by Wigan Pier!

The Clio cup is a 53 plater 16k miles and its up for £8495 uk car, colin further up the thread used to own the car!

Ahh, ok - cheers Andy. I worked in Staples across the road from the Honda garage - never seen the Wigan Sports place in god knows how many years! oops.
Whereabouts is Ron Hodgson if you don't mind me asking, heard that name a few times too.

I know im biased..but i adored that cup, polished 1 or 2 times every week, always warmed before being driven fast and serviced before 12k with warranty work on the downpipe so no bad banging like some other cups.

also phil is spot on and will do you an awesome trade price..he only had the v6 in for about 4 days before i got it snapped up

Colin a very true word spoken! I have spent 34k through Phil on a Focus RS and a VX220 Lightning special edition and both cars were absolutely superb!!

Still have the VX and it is a very special motor and my misses loves it!

Bin back to phil on numerous occasions even though I wasn't buying a car off him and he always has time for you.

Colin I looked at your V6 I bet it makes you smile ever time you drive it!

yes i love it to bits mate, also love the VX's much better than an elise IMHO (thats going to be controversial)

always laugh when i went to see the vee and he asked if i was over 25 for insurance..as i chucked..ermm..no..im not even 21

Adam both look great and I am a big fan of that type of golf, the interior is superb, the only one I prefer more is the colour concept models as VW really go to town on the expensive leather. Obviously not forgetting the mental R32.

Wouldn't like to choose, every day I would personally go for the golf but you know what my nisses would have!!

Colin who the hell is your insurance through (Kneecap)?????

That VX is great value with the hard top. Leather would be nice I agree. Vx is gonna get far more looks, but its the commute that puts me off.

Gonna go look at both this week and make a final decision.

no mate im from carlisle, just up the road, WS&P is about 100 miles from carlisle so not that far to travel (for a friendly dealer with great car stock anyways)

Know carlisle well lived there for 3 months, in dentonholme, not nicest of areas but was in converted mill, did the drive up and down every week.

Nah, was a secondment with work, worked up on the kingston retail park.

Very few clios in carlisle though compared to down here.

yep, even the 2.0L's are rare up here only a handful of 172/18's and only 2 vee's mine and the 255..which is cool cause he never drives his hardly cause he has an audi S4
