55 extreme 4 rear speakers?

Hello. Recently got my clio and the stereo it comes with is a single cd with front speakers only. Later today i'm going to have a poke around behind the rear speaker grills to look for factory fit speaker wiring. Anyone know if I am wasting my time looking? I am presuming that the loom is the same on all base 1.2 16v (dynamiqe) etc that do have 6 speaker set ups from factory. Hopefully I will be able to find an mp3 multichanger for the factory fit stereo also-reminds me I need to check the inputs on the back of the HU. Many thanks in advance

I used to have a 1.2 Dynamique and that had 4 speakers, 2 in the front door cards and 2 in the back, same as in my 1.6 Dynamique.

Unfortunately theres no such thing as an mp3 changer for the standard hu. As for the rear speaker wire I don't know.

Cheers fellas. Had a poke round and did not find any redundant wires. Was browsing today and found HU's that use flash cards with mp3 format files on them, maybe an alternative to 3rd party mp3 changer.... There is a good selection of these around. Btw I only have one remote stalk on the column RHS - is it easy to retrofit the other LHS stalk do you know?

Yep no wiring for rear speakers on the Extreme 4. You will probably notice that the headunit is an 'update list' and not the common 'tuner list' which most accessories work with. You can get the 'Connects2 ARNS003 mk2' from halfords which lets you add any mp3/normal sony multichanger.

Why not get a MP3 CD player, they are really cheap nowadays, as are CD-R's.

Also my authentique didnt have rear speakers, so i had to run wire through the car to the head unit.
