58mm hole spacing!?

  Chocolate Bar™
you have to either take the wheel off, or turn it to full lock and measure the vertical distance between the two horizontal bolts. it'll be apparent which ones they are when you look.

its difficult to say what it should be, as they do tend to vary occassionally.

yeah its where the suspension bolts to the hub.

they're the 2 main bolts right in the middle. you wont be able to miss them :rasp:

It will be 58mm the only Mk2 phase 2 with different bolts spacing are some early 1.2 16V models.
All the 1.6's have used 58mm hubs.
