Shock won't like being abused likt they are.

Might be there signal of short life span.

ALso check mounts etc though ansure you've put it together correctly.

Edde - how long should shocks on an 03 plate last on 50mm lowering springs?

I lowered about 3 weeks ago.

Between 5 and 300,0000 miles. There no set in stone figures I wasn't happy with my shocks at about 50k and changed them thats with stock springs as well. Other have had 70k on 50mm springs and claim to drive hard and are still happy with shocks.

Argh right I see.

Well I have stuck about 1000 miles on them since fitting and the shocks seem to be fine (apart for knocking around a bit).

But I will do around 5000more miles but they should hold out?

Sam
