6x9 cone seperated from rubber

Hey guys, on the drive home I discovered a rattle that had never happened before, and quickly realised that it was one of the 6x9's had seperated from the rubber seal, what is the best way to repair this? I have seen it done with electrical tape but was wondering if something like window grout or a similar idea would work...

depends what the seal around the edge of the speaker is made from? if rubber you can use a puncture repair kit for a bike tyre. you must be giving the speaker some serious abuse for it to tear

if the cone has come away for the rubber surround it's fucked

you need to get it spot it for it to work right

the rubber holds the cone in the center of the voice coil gap

if it is not spot on it just wont work.

trust me take them out of the box with the sub and bin them.
