Anyone else get a feeling of dread when they leave their car at a garage for a major service!?! :dapprove:

Just so many things that can be potentially wrong that you didn't know about!

Lol, shouldn't be too bad as belts don't need doing...

If everything else is fine then it's pretty decent price, but it's the things that aren't fine! I'm already having to shell out £80 on top to sort out the intermittent starting problem...

Im about 200 miles off 72k too! Had most things replaced though so only a minor service for mine

Nothing too drastic it seems - 1 tyre to replace, exhaust mount, couple wiper blades. Advisory's on front pads and rear discs and pads, but new that already.

But, a minor oil leak from the engine, which is a bit of a worry and will be looked into further. :S

I await another phone call...

I had mine done a few months ago, i also had a new cambelt and brake pads/discs.

I worried all afternoon last week and mine was only having a wheel bearing replaced! Just worried about dreaded phone call, 'we changed the bearing but...'

Not the cheapest of jobs all in, but not too painful for a major. Feels much nicer too, all tight and lovely.
