96' Clio 1.9D GT from AZORES - PORTUGAL

Hello, i've found this forum on google.

My car is a 2 seat Renault Clio 1.9 Diesel. He was born on 1996 May.
I use to call him 1.9d GT because here in Portugal, our licence plates are like (00-00-LL)

4 numbers and two letters. My 2 letters are GT. :approve:

I'm making some mods to my car to improve his security/confort/driving style.

Here it is when I bought it:

Sorry buddy as it's a mk1 you'll find alot of members on here will laugh or take the piss out of you...

But welcome anyway

Just needs recaros, speedlines and cup spoiler and your done.

That's what I wanted. But the cash isn't helping. I have already one aileron for the boot. :approve:

Lol is this for real?

What?

Both cup packs?
It's not a cup. Neither is a sport car. It's a normal Clio.

Sorry buddy as it's a mk1 you'll find alot of members on here will laugh or take the piss out of you...

yes, of corse... but I think that for register in this forum, it's not an obligation to have a clio sport, or is it?
I'm pretty sure that you know that your first car is like your first love. It can be trash, can be slow, can be ugly, but it's yours...

Thank you for the welcome ;)

I agree mate, no it's not an obligation but when I have my 2.0l mk1 hybrid you tend to get ignored..

This is a forum that welcomes all (suppose to be anyway)
Try other forums aswell buddy as there are plenty around. Clio16valver.co.uk
Williams Clio. And many more

As I said, my friend. It's not compared to a Williams, or a Valver.
The intention was not to make a presentation of my project. But I thought that was of good sense to make a presentation of myself and, has I have a clio, to show you some photos of it.

Regards mate,
Merry Xmas

Welcome anyway, will be good to see it tidied up :)

Thank you very much for the support

Welcome to the forum! Is it a van? Keep us updated :)

Thanks mate. Yes, it's a van. I have already bought some little things to my car.

- 2 new seats from a 99'Clio 1.2 RT
- Aileron like Williams, but bigger
- Renault 19dt speedo with rev counter
- New rubbers for the windows
- A new steering wheel with the adaptor
- Paint and acessories for painting
- I've lowered the suspension
- Painted the rims (Speedline Monte Carlo)

And i'm planing to buy new tires (185/50r14), but the money's not helping in this moment... :(

Thanks for the support
