A/C pannel

Is there an easy way to remove the A/C pannel in the lower dash of a ph1 172 preferably without removing any of the dash?

might have to remove the centre console but the panel is held in by two screws underneath.

yeh i got the screws but it still doesnt seem like it wants to move
