Only thing I'd say about your parade pictures is that if you'd taken the photos from the other side of the road all of you pictures would have had much more natural sinlight and the colours would have subsequently been brighter. As it is, most of them are in the shade. Your flower pictures are nice tho

Halfway through I noticed the sun was in the wrong place, the downside of arriving somewhere too late and there being no standing room.

It is really a perfect excuse to get a UWA as I was struggling to get everything in at 24mm. Then you can get in front of everybody and still get everything in shot.
