A few urgent issues

Car  BG182 + M3
Hi all,

Last week my 182 started making a horrible stretching sound when turning on the spot, it gets far worse when lock to lock.
I have tracked this down to a failed AUX belt tensioner as upon opening the bonnet the aux belt is about a millimetre from the tensioner spring and there's a nice smooth patch down the middle of the belt!

My issue is the local garage I use are too busy to look at it for atleast two weeks and I don't want to drive it too far for fear of the belt snapping! I have bought an AUX belt kit from Renault so just need to get it fitted, can anyone recommend me somewhere local to Fleet, Hampshire that can do the job as I understand a special tool is needed for the tensioner spring.

A less urgent issue but annoying all the same, does anyone know someone fairly local with use of the clip system to turn off the irritating airbag serv lights?

Many thanks
Sam

I wouldn't drive that anywhere tbh.

And take the parts back, get the job done at a specialist.

Two Techs in Dartford are about an hour from you. RenTec in Portsmouth probably similar...

Do it yourself with a basic tool kit.
It doesn't require a specialist or a special tool. A 3/8th extension will release the tensioner or a jubilee clip.
It's nuts and bolts like every other car out there.
