A race track that tries to kill suspension!

  TrackCar & F30 330d
Not a particulary amazing video but this cup car sure gets a battering over all those curbs!

The guy driving it just smashes it over curb after curb after curb (hero stylie!)

The suspension & bearings must get fooked after 20 laps of that track!

What kind of a driving style is that?! Trying to go too fast methinks.. Still, at least he didn't stack it!

  Turbos.
In a one make series you have to look for every advantage you can. Plus races are usually around 20 minutes, so worth the risk...

The kerbs at Thruxton are incredibly big, and in most cars would rip off the front of your car as well as wear the suspension. Doesn't stop Clios or many one-makes though!

Don't look that big on the photos, but this can be the result...

Yeah totally understand why you'd smash it over the curbs, just made me think that the suspension is pretty good to last a race when getting a hammering like in the vid.

I remember Pierce burst his sump over the last kerb and all the clio's piled into the barrier.

Looks fairly normal for a FWD car on a track like that tbh, like Rob says, the Clios and BTCC take some serious kerb at tracks like Thruxton, Snetterton (before the redesigned the kerb at Russel). It doesn't seem to cause them any problems besides tyre damage. Certainly the smaller teams on very low budgets i have worked with don't appear to carry out any maintenance besides serious repair work over the raceday (3 races in btcc)

Those kerbs look lovely compared to some in this country. Probably much nicer to the car, but hardly likely to discourage the drivers from using them.

First photo is great.
