A Strange One...

Anybody got there Mark 1 haynes manual at hand? Page 4B-12 Picture 15.8

Inlet manifold on a 1.4 RT, have a look at the diagram under the brake servo on the righthand side theres a pipe into the inlet manifold that is not identified... anybody know what this is?

Also........ the actualy stub that this pipe holds over on the inlet has rusted and snapped away... but looks like it was some sort of dowel jobbie (not actually a part of the inlet cast)

Anybody know if this is a renault part?! or am i going to have to make 1?

This is such a long shoot... for starters that anybody even has a clue what im rambling on about but if you do... i would be very impressed!

if its broken off get a screw in there, theres a few vacuum take off sonthemanifold and on some the things blocked up, just T piece into its partner.

As for the pipe, could be MAP or charcoal canister your refferign to, I have no idea what diag your on about cos I have no haynes near me.
