Why are insurance companies so stupid

Been looking for insurance all day for my 1.2 R reg punto and the lowest so far is £2,805.84p lol.

Seriously, thats abit high me thinks :dapprove:

Iv searched on here and i could not find anything about good, cheep insurance companies so if people could tell me what ones to go look at, then that would b great.

im 19, 20 in november and i used confused.com and they quoted me 1600 with ecar :S has anyone ever heard of them before, ifso, what are they like etc?

just out of curiousity try putting in some one elses postcode and see what difference it makes, because i know that mine is more expensive because of where i live
