Abnormal Engine Revs - HELP!

When I turn my car on it revs at about 2500-3000 rpm. It happens as soon as i turn the car on. The car has been sitting there for a couple of months in the garage - not being driven. Is this related to it? Thanks.

:dapprove: Shouldn't have anything to do with being stood. Was there anything wrong with it before you left it? Is the engine management light on?

SOunds like there a hole or gap somewhere in the intake manifold.
Yep could well done, Its not good leaving a car that long.
