ABS in a Cup172

Can ABS be fitted to a Cup172?
If so could the ESP system Renault use on the FF172 and 182 also be fitted?

Why?

Kind of defeats the object of buying a Cup by adding ABS (and weight) back on.

Not really.My car was bought as a pre reg so l got a big discount....wouldn't have swapped my 205 Gti if it was too much.
I'm after a 182 but l'm having no luck selling at the mo (bl**dy impatient me ) and as my next car will have ABS etc l was wondering if l could 'upgrade' the Cup

I would have thought that it would'nt be worth doing. But I have not missed it at all. The car has great brakes in the dry!

A Cup with aftermarket ABS is still not a 182 though...

Really can't see the point. You're struggling to sell it now so what's it going to be like trying to sell a Cup that has ABS??

ESp not much uise anyway but ABS could be fitted it would be a pain though you'd need quite a few bits ABS computer wheel sensors yaw sensor wiring brack snsors whole new setup.
