Abs problem, help!!

Right, this morning as soon as o hit 40-60mph on motorway the abs light came on. Did a quick search today and seems abs ring/sensor is common, had a look on my lunch break and the ring has a crack in it, so I'm guessing this is it.

Now rang Renault, they want £140 Inc vat plus part ex of mine as they only do it on the driveshaft, plus £150 for hour n half to fit it,

The reason they don't do it separate is apparently they heat shrink it on? Is this the case? Had a look on eBay n they have them for £10-15? Could this be fitted easy enough and do they need to be heat shrinked on?

If anyone could help I would be very grateful, btw MOT on Friday, trying to do this before.

rubbish, the ring is £20 and take no more than 1 hour to fit

Ah cheers Fred. Found one on eBay for a tenner, says 44teeth is this right? I'm guessing they don't need to be heat shrunk on then?

there's 2 types, you need to check which one you have

Yeah I can see you get 44 or 26 teeth, mine defo looks like more little teeth. Thanks for your help, I'll give it a go!
