ABS Sensors

Been having problems with my brakes for a while. Just had the front discs + pads replaced and also a rear wheel baring which the garage thought were causing the problem. They said that the ABS sensors are split which is probably causing the problem if I still have it. Does any1 know what that means? Also how much are the sensors if I have to get them replaced?

Sensors for the 172/182 are £50 + vat from Renault.

Getting them out usually requires a drill.... :S

The ABS sensors are like Cogs on all four wheels - they couple-up to a speed measuring device.

So if they're worn or incorrectly fitted, the car thinks the wheels are doing something else.
