Accelerator pedal gets stuck

Hi guys!

Got a problen with my clio 172 cup, the accelerator pedal gets stuck to the floor, normally in second gear.

Anyone seen this before or know what to do about it?!

Check that the plastic bung is in place underneath, if its missing the pedal can get snagged in the hole it leaves in the carpet.

The pedal can (and did) get stuck under the matt on mine.

Happened to me twice at Bedford on Saturday. Well at least I'm sure it was this.

s**t scary when your racing along and then all of a sudden the revs shoot up and bounce off the limiter!
