Accessinig the wireless routers access point

Hi, trying in vain to set up my mates PS3, And have established we need to go onto the wireless access point to allow the PS3 to connect. In the past i have typed in an ip address and logged in, but when i type the ip address in, nothing happens. it comes up with this page:

any ideas

try 192.168.0.1

netgear routers def use this and think d-link and some others do too.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Are you connecting connecting via a cable connection to the router? Also what make is the router?

Its wireless and its a netgear router

Although ive got the same problem with mine and thats linksys

Default for Netgear is http://192.168.0.1

Are you trying to access the control panel from the PS3 browser or from a PC then?
