accounts locked out 2003 domain

just got in this morning and seemingly 90% of our user accounts have been locked out

anyone any ideas ?

havent seen it on any servers yet but have them scanning now just found a bulk AD tool to unlock them all so least thats easier

yes its conficker had a user plug in an old machine thats been sat unused for a few years and bam its odd though as all our other machines should be upto date

We STILL have the odd Conficker issue here, because our Indian team have no idea how to remove it, and won't listen to anything we suggest

i will be shooting the user on his return for doing this

any good scanners for it to check if its on any more of our connected machines ?

We used the ones McAfee supplied IIRC

all sorted now just to fix the culprit machine

Conficker was a right fucker for us as well. Just when you think its gone, another random machine picks it up and distributes it on the network again.

It took us around 2 weeks to fully get rid of it.
