Acoustic Valve

Ok now i know with this removed it's supposed to make the engine sound a bit more throaty but can't see what this is about or whats suppsed to be happening.

I'm pretty sure that is supposed to open and close dependant on Revs and Engine Temps

So I take it that it's bust or wedged open then

May just be that the Engine is already warmed up so I think the Acoustic valve doesn't Open and Close as much.... I'm no Mechanic though so hopefully someone with more knowledge will come along soon

Not too sure what it's meant to do either but mine was removed to fit a CAF for the Maxogen;
it's not needed if you have an aftermarket airbox.
