Adhesive pads for fitting number plates

I have ordered a set of number plates for my Trophy. The instruction advise the plates to be fitted with an adhesive pads that are available from most car accessory shops. Are there any particular brands that do this any better than others. Going to Halfors tomorrow, just wondering whether there are better adhesive pads than others.

I may just screw them in!! How secure are these pads?

Pads are solid and you will have a complete nightmare if you ever wanna take them off just get them lined up right the first time!!!

Ones from halfords are fine

I used the ones from halfords.

Reasonably cheap and work well.

Halfords ones are ok, just make sure you go for the thinner ones and not the thick ones, unless you want a stupid gap between your plate and the car!

I found the thicker ones ideal for the rear as they helped counter the curvature of the boot.
