Adjusting 182 exhaust...

Hey guys,

Ive just purchased a 182 and its had two new rear exhaust mounts from renault but it still doesnt sit as tightly as ones ive seen on here and one side is slightly lower than the other.

Anyway to adjust this ?

the best thing to do is pack the mount with rubber inserts and zip tie them in, i will try and find a pic....

Are those poly bushes that have been added and wedged in place with cable ties through to stop sagging ? where do you get the little bushes from ?

Yeah, faily common really. My Janspeed sits on hose piping with zip ties. Been there for 10,000 miles and is still perfect.

I'm using a BTB. I'm sure it's dropped a little over the past 1500 miles since fitted. I'll need to do the same or buy some new mounts.:dapprove:

Also the tail pipes seem to be protruding more so than when originally fitted?:S

Quick update, just wandering the 3 bolts that you can slide up and down, if i slide the mount towards the front of the car as far as it will go will that pull the exhaust up ?
