adjusting the handbrake

hi guys ive got a 51 plate 172 (ph2) and the handbrake is always slightly on , not alot but can still feel it , how do i go about getting it slackened slightly ? is there anything in the car or is it all under the car ?

under the car, above the rear central heat sheild, 1 x 13mm nut
