Adobe Web Premium CS3 on a Mac

  Formally Clio 182
Ok, I have MacOS X and I recently installed a couple of trial software packages called Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Dreamweaver CS3.

The trials expired so I done the normal thing of dragging and dropping the applications into the trash.

After much consideration I decided to go out and buy the software (as I need it for my work) and I got a package called Adobe Web Premium CS3 which includes the Dreamweaver and Photoshop software amongst some others.

I installed it and the installer 'greyed' out Photoshop and Dreamweaver saying it's already installed!!!

So now I've gone a bought some software and can't install the programs I most wanted to use!!

What can I do? Is there applications still hidden somewhere???

Please help if you have experience with Mac's cos I havent been a Mac user for long!!!

Thanks

There probably 2 or 3 folders that were left behind after the un install. I use Appdelete to remove programs, removes all associated files and folders.

Look on google, i thin other people have had this issue, i cant remember where i found it but i had a list of all folders it created, and said which ones to delete when uninstalling (before i got Appdelete)

people complain about software piracy, yet look at the price of CS 3 web, and its something like £1000. Who in their right mind would buy it when you can download it for free from the right places.

did you actually buy the software, or did you "buy" it?

Yeah I did actually. But couldn't afford to pay it all in one go which is why I think alot of people try and get illegal copies, so luckily DABS.com let me pay in monthly installments which I done.

Well im a web designer, so I cant earn a living without this software.

I'll be able to pay it off fairly quick anyway.

but you're gay

i think thats very irrelevant

but yeah anyway, then main reason why I did end up buying it was because i found it hard to find a software crack that worked for a 'naughty' copy on the mac. Windows isn't a problem, but finding cracks for the mac is tough.

lost my patience and just bought the f**king thing

Yeah i found it was a pain, the crack wouldnt work, but i found a forum that had all the cracks in.
