Adrian Flux Insurance????

I have just bought a 1993 Valver for 1500 (needs some work but only has 69k on the clock) anyway - Adrian flux said they cannot insure me for less than £2k - Madness I am 25!!

I called Admiral and they quoted me £560 - Really don't understand how insurance companies can be so different!

Strange, Adrian Flux blew the others out of the water when I got my mini, at least £300 cheaper than anyone else, and no mileage restrictions.

I personally wouldn't touch Adrian Flux with a bargepole, regardless of saving. IMO they prey on young modified car drivers looking for cheap insurance and bombard them with forms and information. Any one detail that is incorrectly filled out (which with the amount of forms they send, is likely to be something...) and the policy is void.

Why they're so expensive though, I don't know! Admiral are much more respectable anyway.

That is what I thought, Only trouble with Admiral is that I don't think they allow many modifications, Wheels are ok, Suspension is ok, But not sure about when I strip it out and get buckets - No one insures full roll cages that I can find, Guess it will have to be a no tell job or something which I hate!

thats mad??!?! I'm 24, just a got a quote off them for my valver claiming all mods....£410!! How many yrs no claims you got?? did you phone them or do the quote online? I did the quote online, got an e-mail from them with the figure then called them up to confirm it all...

I rang them up - Have 1 years no claims!! have just bought insurance with BELL DIRECT for only £518 - Declared mods too - Less than half I was paying on the 172 so am happy.

im with adrian flux, and i know what you mean about the forms!!! mine 620 1 years NCB, few basic mods declared, wheels, and lowered.

i'm with highway through flux and did not have that many forms to fill in..they seem alrite to me.am 21 1 years no claims and am paying approx 900 squids and a couple of starfish.
