do clio 1.2 coilovers fit the 172 as some1 up my road is selling them cheap for £300 - his not sure himself if they will fit

No, bolt spacing differs i do believe.

Bolt spacing will differ. Possible to get them drilled out by someone that knows what theyre doing... but why?

Unless theyre really good quality £300 isnt that cheap mate. Do you know what coilovers they are?
