Advice - Meggy 225

  RS2'ed 172 Cup
A Mate has just purchased this -

I owe him a favor for being my Taxi whilst my Cup has been in at JMS for some work and said I would give his new 225 the once over.

I have the range of Menzerna compounds for my DAS6 and the range of Menzerna Pads, any suggestions as to what the best combo would be for a 'Tidy up' rather than a full correction?

Also I have Poorboys white Diamond Glaze (For 'light colours') is this another 'Colour charged' marketing gimic or will it be fine to wack a glaze of this over the car once its 'Tidy' just to finish it off before slapping some LSP on (Probably FK1000P)?

Suggestions (Forearms I'm looking at you ;))

I'd imagine before a recommendation can be made they'd need to know what condition the paint is in.

If you're after just enhancing the finish / bringing out the gloss and not correct then maybe use the Merzerna finishing compound and a light pad, or something like Lime Prime or similar cleanser containing abrasives

Unfortunatly i dont know at this stage what i have let myself in for... I guess i am wondering if the paint is the same as on my Clio... I.E Fairly Soft, or if the Meggy (I think its Black Gold looking at the Sales Data) is Hard / Soft Paint.

Quite a few of the Meganes I've worked on or heard about are quite hard. I would test a panel with a mixture, something like 203s with a cutting pad should see excellent results in terms of cut and finish.

Nice one I shall start with this and go from there :)

Exactly, any decent polish, which finishes down well, should serve you well here.

Menz 203S or Scholl S17+ would be the best options IMO.

Look up the black Megane DCI I did (it's on here). I don't remember what I used, but the paint finish was totally transformed.
