Advice needed on removing Track rod end from hub

J@Y

  Clio 182 and CBR 600
I have started to remove the track rod end from my Mrs 1.2 Clio as I'm changing the driveshaft on it - CV has run dry.

I've started it off but now the ball joint is spinning with the nut... I now realise I can probably remove the shaft without removing the track rod end from the hub, I just went for it as it looked like it would make the job easier. Now I can't tighten it up as the whole thing is spinning...

How should I go about tightening it back up again? There isn't enough space to get any grips on it :S Thanks

you dont need to disconnect the track rod end, undo the two 18mm shocker bolts and 30mm hub nut, it will come out easily

(put a jack under the trackrod end and do it back up.)
