Advice on buying 182

  Arctic Blue FF 182
hello all. this is my first post on here and im after some advice if you would be so kind....

im after a 182 and have been to have a look at one. few things i noticed and need some help on;

1. the car is a 54 plate and has only done 16k, it has one stamp which was at a renult specialist garage, should i be put off by the fact that it only has had one stamp after almost 3 years? would this void the warrenty?it was serviced after 12k with reciepts etc. its only had one owner.

2. the engine bay was still quite warm even though the guy said that hed been home 1.5 hours? i know its a small bay but it did seem quite hot. is this normal?

3.finally, when we went out in it it didnt seem to idle that well, he said it was the case for the first ten mins of a journey and i know its a common issue. is this easily sorted or do owners just put up with it?

sorry for the long post, hope you can help!!!!

1) Personally i wouldn't buy a car that hadn't been serviced atleast once a year.
2) Engine stays warm for ages, but can't comment as don't know what you call warm, or what the weather was like
3)Mine idles fine after the first drive of the day. But when cold it's crap for first 10 minutes.

1) Yep engines stay hot ages. its a small engine bay.

2) You have no warently anyway so what the issue with loosing your warently. The service warently rules said 2year/12k servicing was fine I don't agree with that long but that what was deemed by the warently deparemtn as ok.

3) It can be sorted with remaps etc but its not that bad an no point trying to fix it IMO. Its due to the emmisons being tried to kept down it should go after a few minutes though how bad was it.

ok sound, well i was sceptical about the having a void warranty because it doesnt run out (if it hasnt been compromised) untill october so there would be some left. also when i come to sell it the potential owner may be put off by it, as was i. i didnt realise it was 2years or 12k which evers first, i was under the impression that is was 1 year or 12k which evers first. cheers.
