Going to have a stab at painting my renault badge and bullets tomorrow.

How do both the above come off?

they both just unclip. be carefull tho, not to snap the pins on the front diamond.
might need a rag and a knife on the side bullets

on the diamond... there is a pin on the top, left and right iirc. just gently and evenly pull it off, needs a fair bit of force at times tho.

the bullets should come off pretty easy withh a rag on the paintwork and a knife.

I did my engine cover, bullets and diamond today, diamond was a tw*t to get off but the bullets pulled off by hand. Took me about and hour to do the bullets alone! fiddely as f**k!!! lol

How do I remove the rear renault badge, the front one came off a treat but the rear is recessed in and i dont want to damage the paint work.

to take the rear diamond off is a bit of a ball ache. take off plastic inside the boot, undo the bolts that hold the button/diamond/surround on. pick the glue away holding the badge to the surround and ease the diamond out.

how did you do the numbering? brush?

In the first pic the little touch up pen - this has a fine nib on it and i used that. Tbh it doesnt look as good as that lad with the monaco blue and white bullets but I couldnt get it any better. The prob with mine was that the colour scheme used was silver on dark grey and it was difficult to get it to stand out... To get it like the above would take about 100 coats.

Mine took 1 good coat over the blue but thats with proper standox automotive paint that you use with a spray gun, Its thick and covers well. I just used a small art brush but it is very very fiddely, you need a good sterdy hand as jamie will have discovered. The touch up pens you buy such as the halfords ones tend to has paint in thats p**s thin so it never covers very well.

Nice job tho Jamie to say they were done at home with rattle can from halfords. All mine are done in a proper spray booth with proper automtive paint.

I orignailly tried it with a touch up kit from reno. i did about 3 coats, looked rubbish as you could see the brush marks. Was also trying to do red lettering and black bullets, not a good combo to stand out. Oh well.

Yeah too right. Thats 3 coats above! No matter how much you shake the fucker it was awful. I did think about getting some acrylic paint but couldnt be arsed to go into town and find a games shop with a fine brush.

Cheers for all the compliments to.
