Advice on self contained subs please.....

I'm looking to get a sub for the VX and have narrowed it down to these two...

Alpine SWE 1000

Kenwood KSC-SW1

Can someone with experience of one or ideally both of these tell me which ones the best?

Alpine over Kenwood at all times mate
