Advice

Hello.

I am thinking of buying a ph1 172, it has a problem where is you drive in a straight line there is a noise from the passenger side rear wheel area that sound's like bird's chirping, if you turn left while moving it goe's completely but if you turn right it get's a lot louder, I have been looking for a little bit of a project & this car need's a few other job's doing to it which I can sort but this noise is putting me off.

Has anybody got any idea's of what it can be?

Thank's in advance:D

sounds like it could possibly be a knackered wheel bearing?

not too hard to replace to be honest... have a good look around the car (paying particular attention to rear) to look for any crash damage.... bumper alignment etc and under the boot tray. if all is good then its probably just an issue with brakes or bearings.
