Advise please? - Where to put the 3.3ohm resistor to turn off SERV & Airbag lights

I'm looking for a bit of advise from anyone who has fitted an aftermarket steering wheel.

I've got a Ph1 172 and recently fitted a Sabelt Renaultsport wheel, in doing so I have removed the drivers airbag.

The airbag connections are a very thin white ribbon cable, is there any where else easier to connect the necessary resistor to in order to turn off the annoying SERV and airbag lights?

Any advise greatly appreciated.

Thanks

iirc there is a guide in the guide section

So the guide for the seat plugs probably isn't going to help him much when it's his wheel he's changed!

Cheers Djw John, I had searched through the whole forum of guides but couldn't find it. Appreciated mate.

Well I've soldered 3 x 10 Ohms = 3.3 Ohms resistors across the white ribbon cable and the lights have stayed on :-(

'spose it could be the connection under the passenger seat, but I've just soldered that one again.

Any other areas I should be checking?

Have you got any pics of your wheel and the connectors coming out, and which one you've put the resistor in?
Might be able to help you more.
