AEM CAI Style IK

Anyone ever considered something like this? A pic below of the one designed for the CTR:

V2-Induction-Kit.jpg

Seems to give good gains on them. They sit near the arch where there is a good source of cold air.

As far as I know there's nothing like this for the clio, but would a kit like this work well? Could easily be made out of samco bends and some piping of some sort.

I'm tempted to pick up a cheap air filter and make one to try out. I'll have to take a look to see if there's sufficient room near the arch/bumper and for the piping to reach the TB.

Anyone care to share their opinion?

Any pictures of the relocating the battery job Burp?

I'm tempted to do it to create the same sort of induction set up as yours, I have been for a while, but I don't know am I arsed with the hassle of taking out the passenger seat and chasing the cable through the car to the boot.

the same design as the AEM is the K&N Typhoon. gives good gains, and looks the part but at £240 its a bit steep.

All in HERE dude, sorry you will have to dig through it. I relocated the battery, then the ecu, then fitted the filter. over the course of a few months.
