aeriel cable into back of head unit

hey guys

as i mentioned in the other thread there my aeriel cable is in shreds behind the head unit, no idea why.

but i was wondering is it possible to repair it with tv aeriel cable? it pretty much looks the same except a little smaller?

failing that what are my options?
