after fitting dogbone mount...

hiya guys its been a week since i fitted the dogbone mount on my y reg 172 but im still getting a really bad vibrating/clunking noise when im in 1st, 2nd, sumtimes third.

what happens is that when i take my foot of the clutch normally when pulling away it will clunk so i have to lift off like a granny. and when i put my foot down in 2nd and 3rd i get a serious vibration between 3-4k rpm.

im getting a lower gearbox mount tomorrow but aint really expecting much, anyone got any ideas?

Strut tops banging I'd imagine.

strut tops have both been changed mate, its coming from underneath/engine area somwhere

Its not the gear linkage fouling underneath perhaps?

ill have that checked out as ive had the clutch changed 2 weeks ago but it was happening before that. seems as though now there are 2 seperate noises lol i have a feeling one is the gear linkage underneath but wat would explain the vibration in 2nd and 3rd when i put my foot down?
