aftermarket headunit

hiya
did you guys have troubles fitting a headunit in the clio sport 172 phase 1???

there isnt alot of room back there do they have to be a ceertain depth??

my headunit is poking out at the min and there is no way its budging another cm or mm backwards

can anyone recomend a decent headunit that is compatible with the 172 alpine changer and maybe the finger control remote i need to be able to listen to mp3 via cd-r/rw or dvd-r

you should get yours to fix if u take the dash off! i did it when i put new tweaters ect in

what do you mean mate??

if i take the dash off ill be able to make more space back there??

it feels quite sturdy when i put my hand through the gap to feed the wires back

did yours poke out untill you done the dash job??

is the dash hard to get off?? will i need say a haynes manaul?? and what about putting it back on?? lol

yer when the dash is off you can put all the wires to the left where a big spaces is in the dash

not hard, take a pillar covers off, 3 screws on top, 2 each side, then 2 under the steering wheel, then just pulls off
