Aftermarket Steering Wheel With Maplin Resistors? NEED HELP?

Hi,

I have bought some m3r3 3.9ohm resistors from maplin and have carried out the simple fix of the airbag light on my phase 2 cup, kept coming back on randomly which i guessed was a bad comnnection and have now got some more but cant seem to get the light to go off at all now? any ideas? heard there was a way of putting the resistors in the plug behind the wheel?

Bend the wire over so it's a bit thicker and you have to press them in quite a long way.
